Where to seek help?
If your doctor finds that your unborn baby has or may have CDH, the most appropriate medical facility where you can get help is a hospital with the highest (third) level of reference, which offers prenatal diagnosis, in-utero (FETO) and neonatal procedures, and has a delivery department and an intensive care unit for children with CDH, all in one building. All these services are available at the Children’s Teaching Hospital in Warsaw (address: Żwirki i Wigury 63A). As a result, there is no need to transfer your baby to other health care facilities, thus avoiding the possible negative impact of the transfer on your baby’s condition.
